On Wednesday, May 28th, Colonial Youth and Family Services proudly hosted a special evening to honor the heart of our organization—our incredible volunteers.
During the ceremony, we recognized members of our Community Volunteer Corps who reached remarkable milestones: 100, 250, and even 500 hours of community service. These individuals represent the best of what it means to give back, and we couldn’t be prouder of the time, energy, and compassion they’ve poured into helping others.
Each member of our Volunteer Corps was brought up and celebrated for their dedication, commitment, and impact on the lives of the children and families we serve.
We extend our sincere thanks to Interim Executive Director Fred Towle Jr., Board President Nick Taylor, and Childcare Director Sue Roberts for their leadership and support. We are also grateful to Joseph F. for attending on behalf of Senator Dean Murray and Assemblyman Joe DeStefano, and for their continued support of our mission.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the friends and family who joined us for this meaningful event. Your presence reminds us that community service is never a solo act—it’s a shared effort supported by those who care deeply.
Together, we are building a stronger, more connected community—one volunteer hour at a time.
Thank you for standing with us. 💙
